Following the transition from our reorganization, Rural Heights Foundation, one of Ghana.s leading community-based NGOs transitioned to become a policy think tank in 2017. The new strategic direction was necessary as part of a broader effort to drive systemic change at the policy and governmental levels. This notwithstanding, we remain steadfast in our conviction, that lasting and fundamental change is mostly bottom-up. As a result, The new organization, Tunka Institute for Policy and Program Evaluation, continues to maintain our community footprints, albeit only as an internal department under a Corporate Social Responsibility umbrella. The Centre for Inclusive Development will focus on direct community interventions that bring immediate and measurable benefits to indigenes of low-income rural communities in Ghana.
